On the 19th May 2022 the sun shone for the afternoon finals match of the SVLGA West Divisional Championship with Ruth Hunter from Lanark winning 3/2 at her first attempt in a very close match against Gillian Kyle.
The West Vets’ Captain – our own, May Hughes, extended her thanks to all the spectators who came along to support the players and wished Ruth good luck in the finals at Blairgowrie later in the year.
Now Ruth has been selected for the SVLGA team to play at Moor Park (South of England) from 9th to 11th August.
