Lanark Golf Club’s story began in 1851, when the game was still finding its footing across Scotland. The course first took shape under the guiding hands of Old Tom Morris and George Sayers. Some years later, the legendary James Braid was invited to refine the layout, crafting several new holes that helped shape the course into the one golfers enjoy today.
